Our People

Steve and Kristin Twait purchased Forestedge Winery in March 2016. They have been making wine as a hobby for many years. It is with great excitement that Steve and Kristin are making Forestedge Winery their home.

John Wildmo, previous owner, currently serves as manager of Forestedge Winery.

Our Wine

We create 15 quality wines from fruits that grow in the North Country. Rhubarb is grown on-site and additional fruits and berries are purchased from local growers when available. Wines are available for tasting and sale in the Winery tasting room.

Our Process

At Forestedge Winery, we produce five to six thousand gallons of wine per year, crafting our wine in small batches. After fermentation the wines are aged in large Italian stainless steel tanks for a year or more before bottling. Tours are available and are designed to allow you to see how these fine wines are crafted, aged and bottled.
